Stanbic IBTC Bank was named Brand of the Year at the 2026 African Marketing Confederation (AMC) Awards, and its Together4ALimb programme took Campaign of the Year and Best Cause-Related Campaign, according to Bizcommunity. The awards were presented on 24 September at the Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort in Zambia, with finalists from 11 countries.
The campaign
Together4ALimb started in 2015 and has supported 250 children with limb loss across Nigeria, with prosthetics, healthcare and longer-term education support. Delivery partners include Total Health Trust and Ifean Health. The Steps by Stanbic IBTC app lets people join its yearly awareness walks virtually.
"What makes Together4ALimb particularly powerful is that it goes beyond the immediate physical transformation," said Matongo Matamwandi, president of the AMC. He said it stood out for pairing immediate support with sustained investment in the children.
