[ ABOUT ]

To decode tech, AI, marketing and innovation, Africa first.

We inform. We challenge. We give context. TheStak reports on hardware, software, fintech and product updates, on AI and what it changes, on marketing and the platforms behind it, and on the startups and research building what comes next. We start from Nigeria and Africa, and we keep the world in view.

[ THE NAME ]

Why STAK?

A stack is the money you stack, the tech stack you run the business on and the daily stack of meetings, messages and deadlines that makes up a working week. We cover all three, because in practice you cannot separate them.

The salary decides the tools you can afford. The tools decide the work you can do. The work decides the week you have. We follow that chain wherever it leads, from a campus gate in Yaba to a boardroom in Victoria Island.

[ WHO RUNS IT ]

The editor

Founder and Editor · Lagos, Nigeria

Victor Oluwaleye founded TheStak to explain what tech, AI and marketing actually change for the people running businesses, in Africa and beyond. A computer scientist by training and a marketer by trade, Victor has spent more than a decade leading marketing teams and building digital systems inside organisations, and runs Induuce Consultants, a growth and digital transformation agency in Lagos. Every story links the sources it relies on, and mistakes are fixed in the open on our corrections page.
